1.Why have surgery with us?

2.Are hospitals in Spain safe?

Most definitely, YES. The interventions are carried out in Continental-style hospitals that are equipped to the highest standards with the latest technologies, including state-of-the-art operating theatres and intensive care units. All of our surgeons and anaesthesiologists are board-certified and all surgeons are also registered members of the Spanish Society of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery.

3.What services do we offer?

J & C Medical Consultants provide a highly professional service in a relaxed family environment. Our sole objective is to provide the aesthetic improvement required by our patients to their full satisfaction. The first consultation, carried out in London, is free of charge and gives the patient the chance to discuss his case personally with the surgeon. Our doctors visit London regularly, further emphasizing our philosophy that the patient needs to be properly informed regarding all aspects and risks involved in the surgery, before taking a final decision.

Official statistics based upon a comparison in cost of surgical interventions, show that these surgeries are approximately 24% more economical in Spain than in the UK. The research takes into account hospital and doctor's charges, as well as typical flight and accommodation expenses for the expected length of stay. J & C Medical Consultants have selected several fine hotels that are near to our Clinic/Consultancy and, in association with our travel operator, we can take away the hassle of arranging your own accommodation and flights by providing a number of comprehensive packages at extremely affordable prices. Nevertheless, should you choose to do so, you can of course make your own travel arrangements and you'll find links to all major British airlines on our website.

Our nursing and medical care doesn't stop at the clinic. We'll also look after you in the hotel during the aftercare period and you'll be able to contact us 24 hours/day after your surgery. A relative can remain with you during your stay in the clinic's private room.

We'll even provide a chauffeur service from and to the airport. Our packages include all medical fees, clinic expenses, implants and/or garments where needed.

We can carry out any required preoperative analysis, however, you are welcome to have this performed in your country beforehand — for example, if it is covered by your health insurance. A minimum stay of one day is required in our clinic after any of our surgeries. You will then be driven to your hotel where, depending on the procedures performed, you will normally remain between five and ten days, while you relax and pamper yourself in order to speed up the healing process.

4. May I engage in any leisure activities such as sightseeing?

We feel we can trust our patients' own common sense and trust they will look after themselves after surgery, instead of embarking on a busy sightseeing schedule! We encourage relaxing activities — just try and listen to what your body is trying to tell you. You should not engage in any strenuous activities such as long walks or tiring bus trips. Our team offers a variety of Alternative Therapies, including healing meditations and Reiki to assist in the healing process and to calm your mind, body and soul before and after the operation . Should your travelling companion like to play some golf or take a trip, then this can be arranged by contacting our travel operator.

5. What about the aftercare?

We will invest untold amounts of time in postoperative care. Through the use of fully dissolving stitches in our procedures, there is no need for you to stay in order for them to be removed. A professional nurse, based in our centre in London, will be looking after you upon your return and you will receive a visit from one of our surgeons, who regularly travel to the UK. In addition, you can contact us by phone or E-mail anytime, and as often as you need to, following your stay with us in Spain.
